Recently, I had the great pleasure of meeting and interviewing Michelle McKinney Hammond in my home town, Chicago. Some of you may know her as the relationship expert for the single soul. But while there is no denying Michelle has a great insight and advice for the single woman, Michelle has wisdom that reaches the married and the unmarried, the young and old. They hadn’t planned to let construction slip…it had just happened as the busyness of day to day took front and center stage. They were fairly comfortable for the moment…but building had stopped.

By Marie DePree
THE BATTLE CRY FOR CHRISTIAN MARRIAGES
‘Spiritual warfare’ is the battle cry being heard from mates in Christian marriages everywhere! Spouses must fight back with faith and the Word because Satan is on a prowl to destroy relationships. Being a woman of God for many years now, I find myself in a place in my marriage where I never thought I would be…it took me by surprise.

Flip-side…a woman after God’s own heart or The Heart of the Home…is like a divine nuclear power source of God’s love, mercy and grace…and like the human heart, she too provides her husband and her household with the life, oxygen, and nutrients that they need to function at their peak…all day, all night, and all the time. The heart of the home, never ceases…or stops pumping into the life of her husband, (the head) and her entire house…either life or strife, joy or sorrow, peace or war, patience or impatience, forgiveness or un-forgiveness, support or criticism, and either love or destruction.
