Though it was more than two decades ago, I remember it as though it was just yesterday. I was sitting in church in Jacksonville, Florida when the choir began to sing an unfamiliar song. Little did I know that the course of my life would be forever changed by those words: βIt takes faith to step out on nothing and believe that something is there.β
Early in life, I learned the virtue of faith. And through my now deceased uncle β whose faith transformed a ministry of a handful of members to more than 2,000 – my faith was cultivated even more.
