Dr. Faith Fredrick is the founder and president of Faith Christian University in Orlando, Florida. This story is one of great restoration and truly “what the devil meant for evil God meant for good!”

During Dr. Fredrick’s teenage years, she experienced a dynamic encounter with the Holy Spirit and from that time, the call to minister through the word and music has been the central focus of her life.

As a very young woman, she met and married an evangelist and for many years they traveled throughout the United States ministering in evangelism through music and preaching.

After several years of marriage, God blessed Faith with three very talented daughters. As a family they shared the joy of ministering in music, recording several musical albums and made numerous appearances on PTL and Pat Robertson’s CBN.

Following 28 years of marriage and fruitful ministry, this family was disrupted by a dramatic turn of unexpected choices that soon led to divorce. Through the trauma of divorce, this mother soon recognized that there was more at stake than the destruction of this family unit as it had been known, but she recognized that the enemy had a larger plan and that was to “rob, kill and destroy,” the destiny and eternal purpose that was in each of these daughters.

Looking at Faith, you would think she has never been victimized by the pain she experienced. She is in fact, is a very graceful looking woman. But like any other woman, Faith found herself heart broken, crushed and in disbelief over her failed marriage. She questioned, “How could this happen to a couple who served the Lord faithfully and were ministers of the word of God?”

Faced with that challenge and a mandate of the Holy Spirit she purposed with great determination to turn around the devastation of heartbreak and divorce to victory! She enrolled at Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and began to experience the revelation of God’s Word. This journey also included a wonderful man full of faith and integrity, with a deep love for God, and for Faith and her children
