Recently, I was speaking with a friend who ended a relationship with a guy she thought was the "one."  She said, "This has been a very difficult break-up.  I was not sure of what to say because after a while we don’t want to hear the same lines like, "Let it go , don’t worry it’s his loss, or God will send you the right person in your life."  All of which are true by the way.

What I should have said to my friend is, "That the key to knowing if something is for you or not, is by letting it go.  If he doesn’t come back, say AMEN!  That’s not what God had for you." I know this hurts a bit, I have been there so I know.  I have had to place my trust in God and be reminded that I am His daughter and what He places in my life will reflect His love for me.

The truth is, that yes, you have to let it GO!  Yes, it may be his loss and yes, God will place you with, as another friend of mine say, your DRO (Divine right Other).  But, not until you really submit yourself to the Lord.  God will be glorified and your testimony will be His only after you allow the Lord to remove baggage and heal your pains.
