{mosimage} We all know that there are days that while our heart’s desire is to put forth our top performance, our minds and bodies do not submit to those desires. Moreover, not all of us are living or performing the job of our dreams or even talents. However, as Christians we should know what Ephesians 6:6-8 says, “Work hard, but not just to please your masters when they are watching. As slaves of Christ, do the will of God with all your heart. Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember, that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good we do, whether we are slaves or free. But, because we are human and these moments do come, the best way to put your best forward is by:
- Committing your way and your day to the Lord.
- Asking the Lord to help you plan your day.
- Staying focused on your work.
- Setting priorities of the things you want to accomplish.
- Asking the Lord for insight and wisdom to recognize those things that hinder you from being fully productive and fruitful.
Finally, I leave you with this quote: “He who labors as he prays lifts his heart to God with his hands”.
