Reflections on Joseph

If ever there was a player caught in the backdrop of history, it would be Joseph.  It’s all too easy to forget this man was chosen of God as surely as Mary or the magi or the shepherds or even the heavenly host.  Except for a brief appearance, he is nearly forgotten in our portrait of that first Christmas.  Yet for every one of us who may have felt forgotten at one time or another in God’s plan, let’s look and learn.
