I swept. It was a bright January day after the New Year turned—the quiet beginning of a new decade in a sunny 68 degrees. Here I was doing poop duty. I was picking up the droppings here and there of our four dogs; not my favorite thing to do, yet necessary. That led to the beginning of sweeping.

So beautifully said ‘Nita!
Thank you for sharing and inspiring women everywhere to “sweep” in order to heal.
Love you!
As I read Nita’s Sweep it, my eyes watered with tears of hope and peace. It feels so good to read about another form of fixing ourselves that doesn’t involve taking a “Pill” or writing a $40.00 check for the co-pay to talk to a therapist. I was blessed. I feel like sweeping my issues away. Scooping up my mess and letting go!!!
Thank you Nita for sharing
Thank you for inspiring women (and men) with your words of wisdom. Recently, I was hit with a “dust-storm” and am still trying to see through the mess. Your powerful story will help motivate me to not only blow the dust away, but really discard the dirt that I often overlook and never fully put in the trash. Thank you Nita!
