Have you ever had days at work where you can’t wait to go home because you feel so spent and drained? You know those days where you think, “I am so tired, I can’t wait to go home.” You go home and all of a sudden, you have a burst of energy from nowhere—a second wind.
Spiritually, it is the same. There are points in our lives where we feel so exhausted that our minds, body, and spirit reject going one step further. You feel as if you cannot deal with one more issue at work, handle one more problem of a family member, or even deal with yourself.
