Only one Santa is displayed at my house during the Christmas season. He was a gift, one that probably would have been re-gifted to someone who enjoys this type of holiday décor, except for the fact that he was holding a chalkboard. Aside from me being a teacher at the time, it appealed to me because I could envision a powerful message written on his board. Thinking thus, I lovingly rewrapped him – not to go to someone else – but for safekeeping until I could get him home.
