Inspirational Ink: Insight for a Woman’s Life

I’m watching someone fall in love. She’s forty-four years old and has never been kissed. But I think that’s about to change. Recently, she and the only guy she ever dated (one date more than twenty years ago) reconnected. And if things continue to progress as they’ve been for the past few weeks, I believe wedding bells are soon going to chime. Their Facebook status has just been updated from “In a Relationship” to “Pre-engaged”. This whirlwind romance couldn’t blossom during a more poignant season. For the first time in her life, this dear soul is going to have what she’s always wanted for Valentine’s Day: to be in a relationship. Experiencing a first romance at her age is rare in this day and age, but the desire to be in a loving relationship, romantic or not, is a desire we human beings inherited from our Creator.
