As I sat on set preparing for the long days work ahead, I came in contact with a woman who was extremely beautiful. She was dressed to turn every head that crossed her path. She had mastered the art of applying her makeup; it was almost flawless. She sat in my chair and I said to her, “Your face is outstanding. I don’t need to do anything to it!” She smiled. We began to converse about fashion, beauty, and all the things we love about it until I quickly became very uncomfortable.

Hello, my name is Annabel Kent,
I really enjoyed your article as i can relate to the women that you described. I too suffer with very low self-esteem. I am attractive and have always relied on my looks but underneath i feel very insecure which impacts my relationship. I have already given myself to Christ but for some reason i still feel very insecure and i am fearful about getting older. If you can offer any advice then i would love to hear from you.

1) What is it about the aging process that scares you?
2) You stated that you always rely on your looks why is that? What do you feel your looks can/should accomplish for you?
3) What are you insecure about? Is it being liked or accepted by those around you? Is it something about you that someone said and you believed?
