“We doubt your goodness. . . We doubt your love. . .” sings Dove Award winning singer/songwriter Laura Story. In her song “Blessings,” Story eloquently describes every believer’s eventual struggle with doubt when life gets hard.
Story sings from her own experience. Early in her marriage to her college baseball player husband Martin, life threw her a curveball. Martin was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and the couple was thrown into a nightmare of tests, surgeries, and rehabilitation. Several times Martin was near death, and the couple’s faith was severely tested.
