And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there he placed the man
whom He had formed. Genesis 2:8 NAS
Soon after God formed Adam, He placed His new creation in the garden He Himself had planted, the splendor of which we can only begin to imagine. Adam’s Eve was brought forth from him in that garden and God Himself walked in Eden’s splendor in the cool of the day in intimate fellowship with His newly created pair. Adam stepped out of God’s will in that same garden and as a result, was banished from that wondrous place of lush abundance. (Genesis 2:7 & 8; 3:6, 8, 23 & 24)
